Praise for the 1st edition of Introduction to Composite Materials Design

I am "re-tooling" for another career beyond the structural engineering profession and into a more manufacturing type of career. I found your first edition at the University of Nevada Reno library, along with other texts on composite materials. I think your text is the easiest to understand and has the broadest scope of applications through example problems. I will look for the second edition for sure.

  1. Hi dear
Nice information you have posted. I also want to add some more about Composite Materials.
Composite materials, often shortened to composites, are engineered or naturally occurring materials made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties which remain separate and distinct at the macroscopic or microscopic scale within the finished structure. In recent years Global chemical industry is about 1.5 trillion dollars and global composites industry is over $65 billion dollar industry. Now a day’s Composite Materials becomes very important and generally used at every place.
